Each Changemakers Collaborative Competition comprises five stages. Each stage is indicated by its own icon and color to help you navigate the website.
Upcoming: The calendar of upcoming collaborative competitions provides the opportunity to sign up for launch notices and updates and to participate in discussions on the competition topics.
Enter: Competition participants complete their entries, and they and the entire Changemakers community have the chance to collaborate online, discussing the entries through the online review. The Entry stage lasts 11 weeks.
Prepare to Vote: After the entry deadline, the competition judges deliberate and select approximately 12 finalists. During this same time the Changemakers community members continue the online review of entries, determing which ones have merit--which ones they'll vote for.
Vote: When the finalists' names are posted online, the Changemakers community votes for three winners who each receive $5,000. The voting lasts two weeks.
Winners Announced: The competition winners are announced, and Changemakers works with the winners and all the finalists and the broader community to improve the impact of all the innovations.
