The Erfurt School of Public Policy (ESPP) is the professional school for public policy in the Department of Economics, Social Sciences, and Law of the University of Erfurt. It is located in the heart of Germany and Europe.
The ESPP's main mission is to conduct its two-year graduate degree program, the Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.), which is practice-oriented and taught in English. At the same time, the ESPP also functions as a research institution and as part of an active international cooperation network in the field of public policy.
The ESPP opened in 2002 and was the first institution to establish a public policy program in Germany. Since then the ESPP has graduated 71 students from 34 countries. The ESPP is not only international but it is also innovative and its students graduate ready to add new ideas into public policy.
The ESPP is proud to be involved in the "Sport for a Better World" competition because sport is vital for healthy people in healthy societies and because social entrepreneurship is an emerging field in public policy.
