About Reed Sembower

This is how Reed is a Changemaker:
It's just not fair that I happened to be born to an affluent family while billions of people live out their lives subjected to their plight for no good reason except that it was the luck of the draw. To correct this injustice, I've dedicated part of my live to developing products that will improve the lives of those less fortunate than myself. Apparently what sets me apart is my ability to invent new products and I gladly use this gift for the benefit of humankind.

The place for which Reed feels a fondness or connection:
Wrap me up in a country that has an ancient history, a vibrant society, with diverse flora, fauna, climate and terrain, and I'm a happy camper. Some of my favorites include Guatemala, Turkey, Egypt, India, Thailand and Tibet. I feel especially connected at places that predate the modern era. Rituals that haven't change in thousands of years, a village that is not connected to the electrical grid, a bamboo home that is completely green and market day to name but a few.

The change Reed passionately wants to happen:
Maslow's hierarchy of needs places water along with air, food, and sleep right at the bottom of the pyramid. Of those many people will say that water is their biggest problem, so that's the one I'm working on.
