My work in communications hits a very wide spectrum. In 2007, I was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in poetry. I am an award winning stage dramatist and playwright. I am also a journalist focusing on women's advocacy. I work through a humanitarian lens. In 2006, I started an online news network that exclusively covers topics on global women's news. This network has grown to include, to date, an online video/film library which now houses over 460 video/films on issues of women's rights and empowerment.
